Threaded end meters require meter couplings. The threads on the end of the meter are non-tapered mechanical threads and compress a rubber gasket making a tight seal. Each NSF-61/G certified coupling comes with a 1/8" rubber gasket. AMRS couplings are made to fit any 5/8" to 2" water meter, regardless of the manufacturer. As with the Flanges, the AMRS Meter Couplings are built for lasting performance and are of the highest quality.
